New River Cabins is committed to making our website accessible to prospective guests and other visitors with disabilities. We have tried as much as possible to keep our website design accessible for impaired users to see, navigate, interact and understand the content provided as per the World Wide Web Consortium’s Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 Level AA (WCAG 2.0 AA)

We have tested the functionality of this website with a tool and the Google Chrome Accessibility Audit tool. We have also tested keyboard only functionality so the people who used screen readers or cannot use a mouse are able to navigate. Furthermore, we will continue to make every effort to meet evolving accessibility standards. Our webmaster checks the HTML of all new webpages to confirm accessibility before the pages are published in our website.  We have also sought feedback from people who have a variety of assistive technologies.  As we continue to improve our website functionality, we appreciate your concern and suggestions. We welcome impaired users to share accessibility issues you may find.

Currently, our booking engine partner, Innkeepers Advantage – Book It Now, is working toward, but has not yet completely met, AA standards of WCAG 2.0. They performed a self-assessment audit and undertook a development project to help meet the WCAG 2.0 LEVEL AA standard for both Innkeeper’s Advantage Websites and Book It Now customer interface. Lighthouse and the NVDA Reader. Lighthouse results in August 2019 result: 100 percent. Innkeeper’s Advantage – Book It Now continues to make adjustments so that all installations are in the acceptable range. NVDA Reader results: Based on their screen reader tests, individuals using the NVDA screen reader can book a room without 3rd party assistance on all Book it now interfaces public facing pages.
